Our typical maintenance and preventive treatments include thorough cleanings, comprehensive exams, fluoride treatments, treatment for gum disease, snoring appliances, and night guards for bruxism. We also offer comprehensive, state-of-the-art dental services including Invisalign® invisible braces, implant restoration, crowns and bridgework, partial and full dentures, bonding, porcelain laminate veneers, teeth whitening and tooth-colored fillings. Dental problems we can fix are tooth pain and infection, bleeding gums, loose and missing teeth, cavities and broken teeth. We also help with poor fitting/loose dentures, crooked or crowded teeth, dark/stained teeth, gaps in between teeth, teeth grinding/sore jaws as well as issues with children’s teeth.
Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Composite Resins
We offer tooth-colored composite fillings that provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small-to-mid size restorations. Larger restorations may require porcelain inlays, onlays or crowns.
Periodontal Treatment
Gum disease or periodontal disease is a serious infection that can lead to tooth loss, eventually affecting your overall health. To treat this disease, a locally administered antibiotic may be needed. The antibiotic called Arestin® helps fight infection and is frequently added to scaling and root planing (SRP) procedures. Dr. Leardi is one of five dentists within the Philadelphia area selected to participate in a special pilot program using the antibiotic Arestin®.
Mouth Guards
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We customize mouth guards for a more comfortable fit.
