We are a dental office located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Our practice treats the whole family, from children aged 3 and up. Dr. Leardi is a General Dentist, and started this practice over 25 years ago and is committed to providing the highest quality dental care using the state-of-the-art equipment.
We are not part of a large corporation. We are a single, local dentist. Many of our patients have been with us since we opened. We feel lucky to be part of such a wonderful community. Your safety is also very important to us. In this New Age of Covid 19 we have updated our office to do everything that we can do to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Dr. Leardi
Dr. Leardi is the oldest of nine children. He grew up in Springfield, PA (Delaware County). He graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University in 1989. Dr. Leardi graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1994. Upon graduating from Temple, Dr. Leardi began treating patients in a large dental practice in Media, PA.
After practicing for a few years, an opportunity presented itself in Kennett Square, PA. On December 1st, 1998 the doors of his family dental practice opened. He started as a modest office with zero patients, two dental chairs and a sterilization area. Because of his dedication to providing exceptional service, his practice quickly grew. As his practice continued to grow he began adding more dental chairs and hiring more employees that share his patient-centric goals of providing the finest dental care.
It is hard to believe, but on December 1st, 2018, our practice turned 20! Time flies when you are having fun and doing things that you enjoy. Dr. Leardi and his entire staff share his goals and go the extra mile to help his patients with their oral health and dental esthetic desires.
Dr. Leardi is part of a Spears Education Study Club. This is a group that allows Dr. Leardi to keep up with the most current and cutting edge dental research that allows him to offer the best treatment.
He and his wife, Sue, of over 25 years are truly blessed with 5 children. His oldest, Eileen, is attending West Chester University and is interested in pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education. His other children are Quadruplets, three daughters and one son, who all attend Bishop Shanahan in Downingtown. He is also the owner of the world’s smartest dog, Sammy, as well as the world’s least intelligent dog, Moxie.
On his off hours Dr. Leardi can be found driving his children to their many sporting events: High School Football, Rugby, Tennis, Softball, Club Volleyball, Swimming, Cross Country and Track. He is an Eagle Scout who loves nature and the outdoors. He is an avid but slow cyclist and also enjoys skiing, sporting clays, and golf, although may hold the title as the world’s worst golfer. Dr. Leardi Is an Eagle’s fan and loves college hoops!

Colleen
Hello, my name is Colleen Emery. I have recently started to work at Leardi Family Dentistry. I have worked at other Medical offices in the Administrative Area for over 10 years. I have enjoyed joining the Leardi Team. We all work together to ensure that each patient has a wonderful experience. I have been married to my Husband, Eric, for 32yrs. We have a daughter, Jessica, and a son-in law Cole. They were married last Fall and have recently adopted a puppy named Foles. Our son, Alex, is working in the software business & is in the Coast Guard Reserves. I enjoy spending time with our family in Ocean City, Nj and the Eastern shore. Also playing tennis, bike riding and walking the beaches searching for Sea Glass and creating artwork with my fines. In closing, I am so blessed to be working with the entire staff, it’s like home away from home.
Mary Pat
My name is Mary Pat and I have been practicing dental hygiene since 1983. You know what they say – practice makes perfect! I joined Leardi Family practice in 2002 and have come to realize that is exactly what we are, is a family. I am proud to work in an office where all my friends and family are patients. Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, yoga, tennis and my dog. My best dental tip to my patients is: Floss ‘em if you’ve got ‘em!!!
Steph
Hello, my name is Steph. I started working here in 2009 and really enjoy working at a dental office. I grew up in this area. My husband and I have three daughters and a son in law! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. Preferably, at the beach!!! I also like to walk my granddog, travel and go for runs with my KSQ running buddies. This is a great place to work because of the nice patients and great staff. I like being in the dental industry because teeth are important! People seem happier when they leave our office with a clean, beautiful smile.
Virginia
I’m Virginia and I joined Dr. Leardi’s practice in September of 2009. I attended Dental Careers Institute in Kennett Square, PA. I enjoy working with people and believe taking care of your oral health is very important. I want to help in the maintenance of people’s smiles. I am married and have six wonderful children; the two youngest are twin girls, and 4 boys. I live in Lancaster County. In my spare time I like to exercise, catch up on my reading and spend time with my kids, and watch their sporting events. My best dental tip is to keep a regular hygiene routine going at home. It helps keep cavities to a minimum and definitely go to your dental cleanings, twice yearly

Hello, my name is Jacquie. I have been with Dr. Leardi as a Dental Assistant for many years. I graduated from St. Marks High School, took some pre-law courses, and then went on to graduate from Harcum College with my EFDA State license. I am married to Dr. Michael Fitchett, a chiropractor, and we live in Nottingham with our son, Lucas. We have two other children as well. Our daughter, Dr. Jenna Fitchett-Ennis, is in practice with her father, and our son Tim, is an attorney that practices Environmental law in Portland, Oregon. We have two grandchildren. I love boating on the Chesapeake Bay, during the summer! I enjoy being in the dental industry because I learn something new every day. I truly love our patients. It’s like seeing friends every day! My best dental tip to my patients is: Invest in an electric toothbrush, and floss!
Danielle
I am Danielle and I have been working at Leardi Family Dentistry, since 2008 while I was still attending Unionville High School. I graduated from Harcum College and have a B.S. degree from West Chester University. I am currently a dental hygienist in the practice but have had other roles in the office including hygiene assistant and dental assistant. Dr. Leardi and his staff have mentored me along the way and I would not be the hygienist I am today without their support and encouragement. I believe our office is very special in that we get to know and remember our patients. I love working in the dental field because I love to care for others and help them improve and understand their oral health. I am married to my best friend and currently live in Kennett Square with our cat Coco. In my free time, I like to be outdoors, traveling and spending time with my family.

Hello, my name is Patty and I am Dr.Leardi’s Office Manager. I have a B.A. in Business Administration and Fashion Merchandising from Immaculata. I’ve been in the dental industry for many years, and only with Dr. Leardi. Previously, I worked for 13 years in Divisional Senior Management for Bloomingdale’s. I really enjoy the office environment her. The great thing about being in the dental industry is we teach and educate patients on their dental care, which helps their overall healthcare. I am happily married for 30 years, and four wonderful children, and currently live in West Chester, PA. In my spare time, I love being with my growing, active family. I also like gardening, walking two miles a day and practicing the art of photography.

Hi, my name is Carolee and I am so fortunate to be part of the Leardi Family Dentistry team! My background includes administrative postitions in the hospitality industry as well as retail. I can honestly tell you that working at Dr. Leardi’s office is a wonderful experience and I am always learning something new. Dr. Leardi’s care and concern for his patients also extends to the entire staff which makes working here a joy. I am an enthusiastic Philadelphia sports fan, enjoy gardening, playing mahjong, and renovating our home.
Jane Retired
Hi, my name is Jane. I have been in the medical and dental fields for over 25 years. I have a B.S. degree in Hotel and Food Service from Penn State University, but alas have not worked in that field since graduation. I just enjoy cooking gourmet meals on occasion and experimenting on my family with new recipes. The work environment at Leardi Family Dentistry is great and it is so rewarding to see finished results on patients who have had major dental work done. I am married to Robert George, and we have lived in the Kennett area for over 25 years. We have four grown children and four terrific grandchildren. In my free time, in addition to cooking, I enjoy knitting, reading, and taking care of 50 orchids!
